Presidency tells Nigerians to brace themselves for more on magu’s probe

Presidential aide, Garba Shehu, has said Nigerians should expect to be surprised by the findings of the panel probing Ibrahim Magu, the former acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Shehu who spoke on Channels TV on Sunday, July 19, said that the presidency has been receiving some updates from the panel.

Shehu who spoke on Channels TV on Sunday, July 19, said that the presidency has been receiving some updates from the panel.

The presidency said Nigerians should brace themselves for some surprises in the probe of Ibrahim Magu.

“By the time they are done with this job and they come out with the reports prepare yourselves for surprises,” he said.

He expressed the confidence that the panel was competent enough to do the right thing because it is composed of people with integrity.

Shehu said Nigerians should brace themselves for some surprises when the panel is done with the investigation.
